Marlborough

View from the headland Tory Lodge Marlborough Sound

Drowned valleys of the Marlborough Sounds

Whether you are looking for wine, water or wilderness, you will find all these activities in Marlborough.

The Marlborough Region is situated at the top of the South Island and is the home of New Zealand’s largest wine growing region. There are vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys

But the Marlborough Sounds area is an aquatic playground with bird and dolphin watching, walking, kayaking and sailing.

The major towns of Blenheim, Picton and Maraetai Bay have a good range of places to sleep.
