Christchurch has a beautiful seaside area called South Shore, where this boutique B&B is located, about 12 minutes away from the CBD. South Shore is bounded by the ocean on one side and an estuary on the other. The B&B is situated on the waterfront overlooking the estuary, with beautiful views of the estuary, the hills, and over the city to the Southern Alps. Best to order homemade evening meal and watch the beautiful sunsets reflected in the waters. Or take a short walk to local eateries and pubs.
The house has an outdoor spa pool, but you can be more active and sail, kayak or fish from the front door. It is located within meters of a famous surf beach and a bird sanctuary if you prefer mind-clearing walks.
