The rustic accommodation is half way between Hobart, Strahan and Cradle Mountain. The perfect spot for soft adventure, classic Central Highland walks and World Heritage National Parks. The drive between Derwent Bridge and Queenstown is one of the great drives in the world, with many wonderful stops along the way, allowing visitors the opportunity to see Tasmania's wilderness country first hand. The 6 chalets and 4 studios are 3.5 star, self-catering units for couples, families and groups set in a quiet location looking on to an attractive snow gum forest. Two are superb spa chalets - just for couples - offering great comfort and privacy. They are fully self contained with en-suite shower/toilet - with separate entrance - self catering with TV and private laundry. Each chalet has a Queen size bed, an en-suite style bathroom, separate toilet, wood heater, full kitchen and laundry facilities, including a clothes dryer, a sundeck/balcony with outdoor furniture. Towels and linen are provided. The studios feature a kitchenette, lounge, dining and TV, with en-suite shower/toilet and shared coin operated laundry.These provide excellent comfort and facilities for two persons wanting "value for money."
